Payment Options in the Webshop
All product prices offered through Modalexi include VAT.

What payment methods are available in the webshop?
You can choose from multiple payment methods:

  • Payment via iDEAL
  • Payment via Bancontact
  • Payment via Credit Card (American Express, MasterCard, Maestro, and VISA)

How do I pay with iDEAL?
You can pay directly online through your own bank, within the trusted online banking environment of your bank. This method is secure and follows your bank’s security standards. This payment service is available for customers of ABN AMRO Bank, Rabobank, SNS Bank, Friesland Bank, ING, ASN Bank, Triodos Bank, and Van Lanschot Bank.

How do I pay with a Credit Card?
You can pay for your order using the following credit cards: VISA, American Express, and MasterCard. During the payment process, you will need to enter the card number, the exact name on the card, the expiration date, and the 3-digit CVC code (the last three numbers on the back of the card).
Your details are fully encrypted using SSL servers, ensuring security against unauthorized access. The payment will be authorized at the time of order, but the amount will only be charged once the order has been delivered. If the full order cannot be delivered, only the amount for the delivered items will be charged.

Is shopping at Modalexi safe?
Shopping at Modalexi is very secure. All your personal details are encrypted and transmitted via SSL servers, preventing access by third parties. This ensures your personal data is protected.

We comply with all privacy laws and regulations and will never share your personal information with third parties without your permission.

Ordering

Will I receive confirmation of my order?
Yes, every completed order will be confirmed via email with an order confirmation.

What if I experience problems during payment?
If you cannot complete your payment, try clearing your browser history (go to the top right of your browser, select "history," and clear the browsing data). After this, add the product to your cart again and proceed to payment.

Can I cancel an order?
Orders can only be canceled by emailing info.modalexi@gmail.com before 5:00 PM on the day the order was placed. Please include your name, order number, and order date. If the order is already being processed, cancellation is no longer possible, but you can return the package once delivered.

Service & Warranty

What if my product is defective?
If a product shows a defect that was not apparent at the time of purchase, you must report this within a reasonable period after discovering the defect. If, in Modalexi’s judgment, the product is indeed defective (not due to normal wear and tear, misuse, or lack of maintenance), Modalexi will repair or replace the product within a reasonable timeframe.

If repair is not possible or unreasonably costly, a comparable replacement product will be offered. If this is not possible, the purchase price will be refunded.

You are not entitled to repair, replacement, or reimbursement if the product was used incorrectly, was not maintained, or was altered against Modalexi’s instructions.

What does the warranty not cover?
Damage to the following watch components is not covered by the factory warranty:

  • Glass
  • Strap
  • Crown/stem
  • Battery

The factory warranty does not affect the statutory warranty rights that consumers are entitled to. The statutory warranty ensures that a product must perform as reasonably expected.
